Our history
Located in Unley, South Australia, The Conservatory commenced trading over 50 years ago and has occupied the same site in Unley for over 30 years, serving generations of local customers and becoming a well-known part of the community.
Over that time, the store has been recognised and featured across various media for its distinctive offering and enduring presence — quietly establishing itself as a trusted destination for gardeners and home enthusiasts alike.
In early 2024, the business entered a new chapter under the ownership of a local Unley family, with a renewed focus on thoughtful curation, horticultural integrity and a repositioned retail experience combining plants, garden pieces and homewares in a cohesive, intentional way.
